With an SSL certificate, all the confidential info that your customers send through your site (through the order form, via a login form, etc.) will be enciphered and the submitted data will never be imperiled.

To enable an SSL certificate for your domain, simply enter the necessary info and hit the Activate button. You can get a standard SSL certificate, which will be valid for a single host, or a wildcard SSL certificate, which will be valid for all the hosts under your domain.

You’ll be able to park a registered domain by pointing it to one of Serve Direct’s two domain parking themes – For Sale or Under Construction. The domain parking procedure is really easy and will go into effect right away. You’ll be able to park as many domains as you desire. If you have to un–park the domain – you can accomplish this procedure with just a click of the mouse.

When registering a domain name, you will be asked to give relevant and up–to–the–minute registration information, irrespective of whether you are an individual or a corporation. That is why, you will have to update your WHOIS details whenever needed. Nonetheless, not all domain name extensions support this feature by default, so first check if this option is available prior to attempting a WHOIS update.

Through the Domain Manager in your Control Panel, you will be able to update the registrant, admin and technical contact info for one or multiple domains at the same time. All the modifications that you have made will be reflected online instantaneously!

Via the Custom DNS section of the Domain Manager, you can edit various DNS records for your domains, among them A, AAAA, MX, NS, SRV, CNAME and TXT records. Setting a new DNS resource record is astonishingly easy. You simply have to pick a domain and enter the record that you want. Any modification you’ve made will be reflected online within one day. In case you’d like to recover the previous resource record value, just push the Revert button.

The Custom DNS section also sports a GeoIP location tool, which enables you to redirect visitors from a particular geographic region to a given language version of your website.
